Working on my pour

This is a painting for Stephanie. It seems fish have been injected into my life, as of lately. I now reside in 'Fishtown,' Steph is a fish sign (and calls herself a fish-brain), and fish have been creeping into my sketches and painting. Also fish have been creeping into my diet. I am on a vegetarian kick, and just found out 'SmartBalance' margarine has fish oil in it... hmmm. Many more fish pieces on the way (2' x 1.5' flying fish picture in the works, will post when done).

whole lot of shaking going on

The move to Philly has gone surprisingly smoothly. It seems as of lately I am a huge believer God (the universe, or what-have-you) opening and closing windows all over the place. As of lately, I am eeking my way to getting stuff done in the new place. Since the Volvo died, making trips to the grocery and hardware stores have become harder and harder. Its spread pretty thin, the time between work, making art stuff, making stuff for the house, getting furniture, etc, etc. But all in all everything is great! Just walked the dog on a gorgeous Sunday morning. I hope it stays the coarse, and doesn't take the path that good ol' Acadia seems to enjoy: swerving all over the place from one patch of grass, to one sign post. Got to love that goofy animal.
